Maurice A. "Maury" Malone

Obituary of Maurice A. Malone Maurice A. Malone, 83, of Hannibal, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Oswego Hospital. He was born on June 5, 1934, in Hannibal, a son to the late Fredrick and Ellen Grey Malone, Jr. Maury was an independent carpenter for many years before retiring at Oswego County B.O.C.E.S. One of his joys in life was woodworking. Maury was predeceased by his son, William Malone; daughter, Theresa Malone and several siblings. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Theresa; two daughters, Christine Malone of Hannibal and Jennifer (George) Nosko of Hannibal; one daughter-in-law, Kimberlee Malone of Phoenix; six grandsons, Joshua, Joshua, Christopher, Matthew, Ryan and Phillip; one favorite granddaughter, Emily; one sister, Agnes LaClair of Oswego as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 19 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Friday, October 20 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 931Cayuga Street, Hannibal. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Maury’s memory.
