Obituary of Violet D. Potter February 26, 2016 Violet D. Potter, 102, a former resident of Towpath Apartments, passed away on Friday, February 26 at St. Luke’s with both of her daughters by her side. She retired from the Fulton City School District after working many years in the cafeteria. Violet was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Nentarz. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Potter; two brothers, John and Frank Netters and five sisters, Stella Gillen, Mary Gonnella, Alexandria Connors, Ida Netters and Agnes Salvadore. She is survived by her two daughters, Shirley Bradshaw and Sandra Pluff, both of Oswego. Violet is also survived by six grandchildren, Dr. Joanne Murabito Moray (Jonathan), John, Michael and Anthony “Tee” Murabito and Brian (Megan) and Kevin Pluff. She also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren, Robert and Ryan Moray, Madison, Olivia, Emma and Nicolas Murabito and McKinley and Leighton Pluff, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 1 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, corner of So. Third and Rochester Streets, Fulton. Burial in the spring will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, February 29 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
