Vincent “Vinnie” J. Alfano, Jr., 60, of Granby passed away October 22, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Fulton to the late Helen and Vincent Alfano Sr., he was a lifelong resident of Fulton, graduating from Hannibal High School class of 1981. Vinnie worked at Morrill Press for 18 years, then worked another 19 years for CSX operating equipment and driving truck.
Vinnie enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and camping. He also enjoyed country music, watching SU sports, bowling and golfing, but above all he enjoyed time spent with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step-mother, Helen Southworth-Alfano.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Josephine “Josie” Alfano; daughters, Nicole (Jon) Trapasso, Natalie (Nick) Leitner and Nina Alfano; fur child, Peanut; grandchildren, Matthew, Dominic, Elianna and Valencia; fur grandbaby, Nitro; step-children, Alicia Alvarado and Pedro Moreno, Jr.; sister, Vicky Alfano-Ware; nephews, Casey Ware, Kyle (Hunter) Ware, and Conner (Lily) Ware, along with several cousins, along with step-siblings Tammy Holden and Timothy Southworth.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, NY 13069. Everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite SU attire in memory of Vinnie.
