Tracy E. Porter

Tracy E. Porter, 51, of Volney, NY, left for his final frontier on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at home. Born in Oswego, to Raymond and Barbara (Allen) Porter. Tracy attended Fulton Schools and after high school, he enrolled in an Optometry program in Liverpool, NY and completed an internship with Empire Vision. He later worked as a fusion operator for Eagle Comtronics for 25 years. Tracy loved movies, especially Star Wars and Star Trek. He would collect movie memorabilia, transformers, and kitchen gadgets. Tracy especially loved spending time having a few drinks with his family and friends.

Surviving are his daughter, Samantha (Joshua) Denny; five grandchildren, Ariana, Lilith, Jensen, Maddison, and McKenzie; his adopted daughter, Allie Rowe; his parents, Raymond and Barbara Jean; siblings, Kristeen Porter, David Porter, and Tammie Russell; his beloved dogs, Gracie, Destiny, and Sammy; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 4-6 pm on Thursday, May 23rd at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with a service to immediately follow at 6 pm. Burial will be at a later date.
