Sofia Josephine Parkhurst

Sofia Josephine Parkhurst, aged 3 months and 27 days, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2024, holding the hands of both her parents at their home in Granby, NY.

Sofia struggled with a very rare condition in which she had no immune system, severe respiratory issues, and nerve problems. Although Sofia couldn’t see or hear, she had a strong sense of touch and always knew someone was there.

Sofia was the daughter of Jacob Parkhurst and Sierra Sheldon of Granby. With her brief visit on earth, she enjoyed being held and snuggle her soft blankets. She was loved deeply and will be missed.

There will be no services. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
