Obituary of Shirley C. Heppell June 9, 2015 Shirley C. Heppell, 90, of Fulton passed away Tuesday, June 9 at Pontiac Care and Rehabilitation Center in Oswego. Shirley was born September 2, 1924, a daughter to the late Harold and Mildred Coon of Carthage. Shirley was married to Adolphe Heppell Sr., living in Fulton and retiring to Zephyrhills, Florida before returning to New York. Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Adolphe, Sr. who passed away in 2003; daughter, Kathryn King; son, Mark Heppell, and brother, Robert Coon. Surviving family members include; sons, Ronald (Christine) of North Carolina and Adolphe Jr. (Sharen) of Fulton; daughter, Constance (Mark) Shimelonis of Arizona; sister, Marilyn Throssell of England; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 12 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fulton.
