Sheila J. Halstead

Sheila Jo Jones of Fulton, NY passed peacefully and painlessly at home surrounded by her loved ones after a long illness on June 28, 2023.

She was born October 27, 1955 in Troy, NY.  She attended Stillwater Central School, Albany Central School and went on to get her CAN and LPN designations.  She worked at Teresian House Nursing Home in Albany, NY and St. Luke’s and Loretto Nursing Homes in Oswego County.

She is survived by her son, Jared Jones of Fulton, NY; daughters, Melissa Jones of Duanesburg, NY and Jennifer Jones of Fulton, NY; sister, Beverly Mucci of Colonie, NY; 10 beloved grandchildren and various nieces and nephews.

She considered friends to be her family and spent her leisure time bowling and using her beautiful voice singing karaoke.  Her amazing heart attracted so many friends in her life and once you were her friend, you were part of her family forever.

A dry celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
