Samuel Rudd

Samuel Rudd, 89, of Fulton NY, passed away peacefully at home on July 26, 2024, with his family at his side.

Sam retired from Miller Brewing Company, and enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, playing the guitar, woodworking, and spending time at the camp he built on Lake Ontario.

Surviving are his wife of 68 years Connie; two daughters, Charlene (Steve) Bullock, and Marcia (Jimmy) Waligory; son, Mat (Andrea) Rudd; sister, Vashta (Tom) Osborne; seven grandchildren, Catina, Brian (Kristiney), Andrew (Linda), Jeremy (Danielle), Josh (Jackie), Brendan (Ting), Emily; six great grandchildren, Dylan, Sawyer, Emma, Stryder, Jayvin, and Zadie.

The family would like to thank Centerwell Home Health and Hospice of CNY for the compassionate in-home care they gave to Sam in his final weeks.

A calling hour will be held at 10 am on Thursday, August 1st at St. Rose of Lima Church, 407 S. Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212 with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow at 11 am. The burial will be in Old Glendale Cemetery in Glenfield, NY. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
