Obituary of Samuel Anthony Puglia May 3, 2014 Samuel Anthony Puglia, of Fulton, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was the owner of Discount Liquors in Granby and formerly operated several businesses including the Party Barn and Puglia Sand & Gravel. Sam enjoyed spending time with his family and his many good friends and business associates. He loved his winters in Florida and was an adventurous and generous soul. Sam was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and May Puglia; a sister, Catherine Dunn and a niece, Stephanie Bomeisl. He leaves behind his loving partner, Sheryl Knight and his stepsons, Scott (Billie Jo) and Peter (Rebecca) Knight and grandchildren, Alison, Morgan, Sydney, Bryce and Mia; his sister, JoAnn (Steve) Bomeisl; nieces, Rachel and Lauren Bomeisl and Antoinette, Jo and Lucinda Tranelli. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial celebrating his life will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Holy Trinity Church, corner of Rochester and South Third Streets in Fulton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Division of Solid Organ Transplantation, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Box SURG-TRANSPLANT, Rochester, NY 14642.
