Obituary of Ruby E. MacDougall November 26, 2014 Ruby E. MacDougall, 89, of Volney, passed away Wednesday at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego. She was born at the Steven’s Sawmill homestead to the late Maurice and Alice Stevens of North Volney. Ruby attended the North Volney Schoolhouse and was taught by her future mother-in-law, the late, Fae MacDougall. Ruby was a homemaker and was a member of North Volney United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Verne G. MacDougall, who died in 2002. Ruby is survived by her children, Glenn (Crystal) MacDougall of Fulton, Donna (Pullen) MacDougall of North Volney, Terry (Cindy) MacDougall of Fulton and Barry (Warren) MacDougall of North Carolina; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Ruby’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke Health Services for the wonderful care and kindness given to Ruby during her stay. Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, November 30, with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Graveside services are 11 a.m. Monday, December 1, at North Volney Cemetery, County Route 4, Volney.
