Obituary of Roy D. Jones Roy D. Jones, 86, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 surrounded by his children. Having been given a long healthy life, his children were blessed to enjoy those years with him. From Baldwinsville, Roy was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Upon his return, he married Lenora “Lee” May Stanton and made a life as a body and fender repair man working for various body shops in the area. Roy was an avid pool player. He also enjoyed listening to country music, dancing, playing guitar and cards. Roy was predeceased by his wife, Lee of over 30 years, in 1989. He is survived by his four children; son, Jamie (Joanne) of Fulton; daughters, Beth of North Syracuse, Robin (Matt) of Liverpool, Tracy (Jay) of Fulton; 11 beautiful grandchildren and seven amazing great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, November 14 in Springbrook Cemetery, Route 104A Fairhaven, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter, 441 West Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse, NY 13204-1305 in Roy's memory.
