Roger L. Wise

Roger L. Wise, age 80 of Volney, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents, Benjamin and Hazel Wise; brother, Benjamin Wise; and sister, Jean Longeski.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Elizabeth J. Wise; children, Raymond Wise, Sheila (David) Carvey and Jeffery (Melissa) Wise; grandchildren, Logan and Marshall Carvey, Alexas, Elissa, and Trevor Wise; great-granddaughter, Elyria Carvey; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Roger was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, ATVing, and hunting. He was a jack of all trades, he enjoyed building including his own home and many motor vehicles. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle to Alaska with his wife. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a faithful and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.
