Robert E. "Whitey" Woolworth

Obituary of Robert E. Woolworth April 19, 2016 Robert E. “Whitey” Woolworth, 88, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday at The Manor at Seneca Hill. Born in Parish to the late Francis and Sylvia Allen Woolworth, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1947. Whitey proudly worked for the Fulton Fire Department from 1961-1979. In his free time, Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his wives, Shirley in 2011 and Marilyn in 1983 as well as two sons, Robert, Jr. in 1954 and Ronald in 2006. Robert will be greatly missed by his sons, Randy (Cindy) of Richland and Marty (Lisa) of Fulton; grandchildren, Danielle, Melissa, Stacey, Marty, Jr., Brendan, Lauren and Michael-Ann; six great-grandchildren. Calling hours are Sunday, April 24, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
