Robert H. Terpening

Obituary of Robert H. Terpening Robert H. Terpening, 81, of Cato, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at St. Joseph’s hospital. He was born in Cato, a son to the late Harold and Mildred (Horn) Terpening. Bob was enlisted in the US Navy from 1957-1961 and was a lifelong member of the Hannibal Masonic Lodge. He was the owner/operator of Terpening Drywall & Insulation Inc. After retirement, he filled his spare time with various jobs, landscaping, and fixing things. Bob will be remembered for his whistling and always helping people. He was predeceased by his siblings, Ron, Betty, Kathy and Jim. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Joyce (Crego) Terpening; children, Mindy (Todd) France, Robin (Brett) Cary, Ernest (Anita) Terpening and Tammy Terpening; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Lamphere; several nieces and nephews. In respect to Bob’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. A private burial with military honors will be held in Ira Union Cemetery. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has care of arrangements.
