Robert M. "Bobby" Sawyer

Obituary of Robert M. Sawyer July 19, 2014 Robert M. “Bobby” Sawyer, 52, passed away Saturday at Oswego Hospital. He was born in Oswego, the son of Beverly Guernsey and the late Harold L. Sawyer. He was a life resident of Volney. Bobby was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. He attended BOCES School for Exceptional Children and graduated in 1982. He then worked at Oswego Industries for about 23 years. The past few years, Bobby had been a resident of Rowlee Group Home in Fulton, where he enjoyed life to the fullest with all of his friends and wonderful caretakers. Bobby is survived by his mother; a brother, Brian Sawyer and sister-in-law Ann (Grela) Sawyer; his two beloved nieces, Cali and Paige Sawyer; his favorite cousins, Beverly and Walter Roach and Barbara and Don Myers. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Funeral services and burial will be private.
