Robert L. Mcdonald

Robert L. “Bob” McDonald, 60, of Fulton, NY passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, June 21, 2024, at his home after battling a long illness. Born in NY, to Wayne and Mabel (Barber) McDonald, he spent most of his life here but in his youth, he traveled to Arizona and would fondly recollect those times. He would entertain many nieces, nephews and grandchildren with stories of his life. Bob worked for Demotts for several years as well as Incredimeal and the Agriculture Center at the NYS Fair. He enjoyed being outdoors with his friends and family. On a nice day you could find him at Beaver Lake with his wife and grandchildren or cruising the backroads. Bob was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather helping to raise his granddaughter, BriAnne Redman and his great grandson, Xavior. He was predeceased by his mother, Mabel Lambo; stepfather, Butch Lambo; stepmother, Arlene McDonald and sister in law, Diane.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Ruby (Carvey) McDonald; step-children, Wallace Redman Jr., Jeremy “Bear” Redman, Thomas DaCorta, and Joleine Shoults; his brothers, Dave (Terri) and Steve; his sisters, Kathy (James), Cindy, Debbie, and Darlene; his best friend, Shawn O’Connor; his beloved dog, Chloe and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who loved him dearly.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
