Robert I. Kocher

Obituary of Robert I. Kocher March 2, 2013 Robert I. Kocher, 82 of Palermo passed away Saturday at home. Born in Pennsylvania, he had lived in the Palermo area since December 1967. Bob received his associates’s degree in mechanical engineering and retired in 1986 from Packaging Corporation of America after 37 years. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Bob was an Army Korean War veteran and member of Fulton VFW Post 569. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruth; children, Ronald, Ruthie, Rebecca, Royanne, Rachel, Richard and Roger; sister, Lois; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fulton VFW Post 569, Cayuga St., Fulton, 13069.
