Robert P. Burnett, Jr.

Robert (Bob) Phillip Burnett, Jr., was born on March 27, 1953, and passed away on September 6, 2024, at the age of 71. A son of Freda Hotaling-Burdick and Robert Burnett. Sr. He was a life resident of the Fulton area. Bob had been a truck driver with several companies and most recently with Riccelli Trucking.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice (Darling) Burnett; their son Robert (Bobby) Burnett; a stepson, George Bennett; siblings Sharon Baker, Karen Scanlon, and Richard Burnett.

He is survived by his stepchildren, Kenneth (Richard) Baker-Greenleaf, Scott (Rosie) Greenleaf, Fred (Gina) Greenleaf, Donna (Jim Wade) Ingersoll, and Howard (Burnetta) Bennett; two grandsons, Robert (Nicole) Burnett and Brandon (Adrienne) Burnett; three great grandchildren, Madilyn Burnett, Lillian Burnett, and Lincoln Burnett; a daughter in law, Melanie Burnett; siblings, Sandra (Sam) Bradford, Kathy Burnett, Larry (Bonnie) and Gerald (Georgeann) Burnett. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, September 20th at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, 1254 County Route 3, Hannibal. At this time, both Bob and his wife, Alice, will be laid to rest together. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
