Obituary of Richard A. Hoffman February 10, 2016 Richard A. Hoffman, 75, of Hannibal, it is with our deepest sorrow that the family informs you that our beloved husband, father and grandfather has been taken, by the Lord and his angels, back home for his everlasting love and peace. Dick was born July 8, 1940 in Worcester, MA to Joseph and Julia Hoffman. He retired from Armstrong World Industries, Fulton after 36 years as a machinist. Dick was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Hannibal and a life member of Pathfinder Fish & Game Club in Fulton. Throughout his life, Dick enjoyed fishing, hunting, skiing, motorcycling, four wheeling, snowmobiling, skeet & trap shooting and he loved the Boston Red Sox. Dick was predeceased in death by his parents, a sister, Shirley (Dick) Murphy and a brother, Joseph (Shirley) Hoffman. He now leaves to cherish his memory, his high school sweetheart and wife of 54 years, Edna Allen Hoffman; his children, Susan (Shawn) Conner, Shari (Steve) Gordon, Steven Hoffman and his faithful dog, Dudley; four wonderful grandchildren, Nicole Ketcham, Kristy Ketcham, Shawn Conner Jr. and Shane Conner; his loving sisters, Judy (Herm) Harold and Donna (Bob) Simko as well as several nieces and nephews. We will forever miss him, but let him go to his peace knowing that we will someday link our family chain back as God calls each of us.
