Obituary of Richard Earl Farrands August 9, 2015 Richard E. Farrands, 79, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, August 09, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born on October 25, 1935 in Port Jefferson, a son to the late Earl Richard and Mary Catherine Atkinson Farrands. Richard was a veteran of the Army serving in Korea. In 1999 he retired from the Fulton Jr. High as the art teacher for many years. He loved working with stained glass, watercolor painting and gardening. He was predeceased by his sister Sandra B. Farrands. He will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife Caroline; six children, Richard (Sandra) Farrands, Jr. of Fulton, Scott (Denise) Farrands of Clifton Springs, Bill (Sandra) Farrands of Fulton, Daniel Farrands of Clifton Springs, Dana (Christopher) Boshnack of Brockport and Arch (Doreen) Ramos of North Carolina; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Robert (Jean) Farrands of Rochester, Lauretta Sieger of Florida and Cathy Shockley of Long Island as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 12 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
