Obituary of Richard E. Blandford November 6, 2014 Richard E. Blandford, 62, of Fulton passed away Thursday surrounded by his loving family. Born in Syracuse to the late Douglas Blandford and Alice Waters, he had lived in the Fulton area his entire life. Richard was a machinist for Babbitt Bearings Inc. for 35 years. In his free time he enjoyed camping, deer hunting and vanning with his fellow van club friends. Richard will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife Shirley; children, Heath (Jessica) Blandford, Melissa (Jeff Wise) Blandford, Vanessa Blandford, Byron (Ashley) Blandford and Veronica Blandford; grandchildren, Evan, Zachary and Elissa; and many nieces and nephews. There is no funeral service. Calling hours are 1-4pm Sunday November, 9th at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. In lieu of flowers, the family request donation be made in Richard’s memory to Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, Foundation for Upstate Medical University, 750 East Adams St. CAB 326, Syracuse, N.Y. 13210-9943.
