Peter M. Hoffman

Peter M. Hoffman, 65, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022, after a courageous 15 month battle with cancer. Peter was the beloved son of Laurna (Millard) Hoffman and the late Merrill K. Hoffman of Fulton. Additionally, he is survived by his daughter Emma Feinen of Tonawanda and Albany; sisters, Anne (Gary) Wood of Manchester by-the-Sea, MA and Pamela (Mark) Giovannetti of Fulton; nephews and nieces, Daniel (Hannah), Geoffrey and Caroline Wood, Ian (Taylor) and Sophia Giovannetti; as well as an uncle, several cousins and a grandniece.

Peter grew up in Fulton and graduated from G. Ray Bodley High School. He went on to be a proud graduate of Clarkson University and worked in the audio-visual field for over 40 years, ultimately founding his own company, Hoffman Component Integration, Ltd. Peter spent over 30 years as stage manager for Chevy Court at the NY State Fair. He was an Eagle Scout and kept in touch with scouting through work at the Cedar Pines scout camp.

Pete had an irrepressible personality and a true zest for life. He loved spending time with his family and friends and being outdoors. Throughout his life he enjoyed boating, camping, hunting, skiing, motorcycling, snowmobiling, and traveling in the national parks of the west.  A wonderfully creative man, Pete spent time working on his many woodworking and carpentry projects, photography, gardening, and cooking. He was always eager to lend a helping hand and go the extra mile for anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Calling hours will be held at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, NY on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 4pm to 6 pm. A funeral service will be held at First United Church in Fulton, 33 S 3rd St, Fulton, NY 13069 on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 11 am.
