Obituary of Patrick M. Sullivan June 4, 2014 Patrick M. Sullivan, 57, of Hannibal, passed away on Wednesday, June 4 at Oswego Hospital surrounded by his loving family. A native of Camillus, he was the son of the late Bill and Peg (Fallon) Sullivan. Pat worked 23 years for the Town of Hannibal Highway Department and retired as deputy supervisor due to personal disability. He had owned and operated Patrick Sullivan Trucking in Hannibal. Pat was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Hannibal and a member of the Country Cruisers and Sons of the American Legion, Prior Stock Post 1550 in Hannibal. He enjoyed John Deere Tractors, model trains, mowing his lawn and hunting. Pat developed Osteogenesis Imperfecta as a child and even though he was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis “Lou Gehrig’s Disease” 18 years ago, he continued to do what he wanted despite the disability. Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Susan Maxon Sullivan of Hannibal; children, Elizabeth Sullivan and Patrick Sullivan, Jr. of Hannibal; siblings, Mary (Barb Francis) Sullivan of Peoria, AZ, Kelley (Jeffrey) Baker, Meghan (Todd) Welling, William (Cindy) Sullivan and Michael Sullivan all of Hannibal; his best canine friend, Ozzy; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours are from 3 to 7 P.M. Monday, June 9 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street in Hannibal with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 10 A.M. Tuesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 923 Cayuga Street in Hannibal. Burial is at Hannibal Village Cemetery on West and Church Streets, Hannibal.
