Neta E. Turk

Obituary of Neta E. Turk September 27, 2013 Neta E. Turk, 98, of Fulton, passed away Friday at Loretto in Syracuse. Born in Williamstown, she had lived in the Fulton area for many years. Neta retired from Nestle Co. after more than 30 years. She was a member of State Street United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Rebekah Lodge. Neta enjoyed baking, crafting and traveling. She was predeceased by her parents, Harrison and Elsie; brothers, Walter and Stanley and sisters-in-law, Dorcas, Lucille, Betty and Doris. Neta is survived by her brothers, James Turk of New Hartford, Donald Turk of Pennellville and Roger (Ellie Caza) Turk of Cicero; sisters-in-law, Clara Meekins of NC and Joyce Turk Prest of Camden; 27 nieces and nephews; many great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday with a service to immediate follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at North Bay Lawn Cemetery.
