Natalie A. (Smith) Pierce, 101, a life resident of Fulton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at St. Luke’s Nursing Home.
Mrs. Pierce had worked for many years as an administrative assistant for Pierce Supply & Service, a company owned by her late husband, and at The King’s Business, a Christian bookstore in Oswego.
Mrs. Pierce was a faithful and beloved member of the Oswego Alliance Church for many years. She hosted multiple weekly Bible studies in her home for decades. She also authored three books of devotions and poems in her later years. Mrs. Pierce enjoyed singing and playing the piano and even in her later years still sang solos at church. She received an Associate’s degree and Certificate on Alcohol Counseling in her 70’s.
Mrs. Pierce was pre-deceased by her husband, Paul H. Pierce and a granddaughter, Suzanne (Eric) Nelson of Carson, CA. She is survived by a son, Robert (Nancy) Pierce of Sanford, FL; two daughters, Judith D. Bengar of Fulton and Sue P. (William) Burton of Taylors, SC; eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Following medical research at Upstate Medical Center, cremains will be placed at Peck’s Cemetery, Scriba and at Big Moose Community Chapel Memorial Woods, Inlet, NY at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 10:00am at Oswego Alliance Church, 371 Thompson Road, Oswego, NY with a reception to follow.
