Nancy J. Whitens

Nancy J. Whitens, age 89 of Fulton, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Whitens, and grandson, Ryan Caster.

Nancy is survived by her loving children, Lori (Gregory) Caracciolo, Brenda (Robin) Caster, Judy Dygert, Timothy (Nancy) Whitens and Daniel Whitens; brothers, Richard (Astrid), George (Sarah), and David (Heide) Conibear; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Nancy was a very accomplished pianist and organist. She was the organist for the local Congregational Church for 25 years, and she especially enjoyed singing and playing for several local nursing homes. She was the Dexterville Community Services Director for several years. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and especially camping in the Adirondacks. She was a caring and dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
