Obituary of Myrtle M. O’Grady October 16, 2015 Myrtle M. O’Grady, 89, of Hannibal, passed away on Friday, October 16. She retired from Comstock Foods in Red Creek after many years and had previously worked at Nestle Co., Fulton; General Electric Co., Liverpool and Ox Heart Candy in Oswego. Myrtle was a member of the Hannibal Center-South Hannibal United Methodist Church. She enjoyed camping, reading, playing bingo and visits to the casino. Myrtle loved her family gatherings. She was the widow of Louis Worden in 1954 and Francis “Red” O’Grady in 2001. Surviving are her children, Ann (Donald) Bunting of MD, Mary Reis of Fulton, Linda DeRocha, Florence Saunders and Dawn (Michael) Louise all of Hannibal, Viola (Nick) Tietsma of Cato, Angus (Charlene) Ritchie of TX, George (Elizabeth) Ritchie of Hannibal and Dale (Lorraine) Ritchie of Martville; 19 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; brother, William Hubbard of Syracuse; sister, Julia Wheeler of TX and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by three grandchildren; brother, Walter Hubbard and sister, Mary Scott. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, October 19 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street in Hannibal with services 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairdale Rural Cemetery in Hannibal. Memorials may be made to the Hannibal Center-South Hannibal United Methodist Church, Hannibal, NY 13074.
