Muriel Balcom Keeney

Obituary of Muriel Balcom Keeney September 25, 2016 Muriel Balcom Keeney, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25 at the age of 92 surrounded by her loving family. She was a life resident of the Fulton-Fair Haven area. Muriel retired after 30 years with the Nestle Company in Fulton and was a member of Bowen’s Corners United Methodist Church; the Daughters of the American Revolution and Elizabeth Chapter 105 Order of the Eastern Star. Muriel was predeceased by her son, Donald R. Keeney and a daughter, Margaret E. Mulford. Surviving are her husband of 70 years and high school sweetheart, Donald E. Keeney; two daughters, Mary Ellen (David) Canino and Rosemary (Michael) Federici; son-in-law, John Mulford; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. There are no calling hours and services will be private. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Fair Haven Fire Department, 14447 Fair Haven Road, Sterling, NY 13156.
