Milferd R. Darling

Milferd Roy Darling, age 77, formerly of Hannibal New York, passed away March 28, 2024, in Ocala Florida. Milferd was born in Oswego NY to parents Nelson and Juanita Darling on January 9, 1947. He went to high school at Hannibal Central School and graduated in 1965. He earned an associate’s degree in Agronomy from the State University of New York at Delhi. He worked as an Ameriprise financial planner and Christmas Tree farmer at his Darling Christmas Tree Farm in Hannibal NY. He enjoyed farming, gardening, and was an avid motorcycle, snowmobile, and car enthusiast.

Milferd is survived by his stepdaughter Corinne Coffey Williamson and her two children Mary Williamson and Maxwell (Linda) Williamson, his sister Janet Hall, sister in laws Jeanne Armstrong and Renee De Angeles, mother Juanita Darling, nieces Kimberly (Daniel) Burke, Amy (Samuel) Pabon, Tracey (Timothy) Barone, Christie (Daryl) Scibior, and nephew Jakob Kronenwetter. He is preceded in death by his wife Brenda Darling and his father Nelson Darling.

A graveside service will be at 11am on Saturday, July 20th at Hannibal Village Cemetery, Church Street, Hannibal. Donations can be sent to Marion County Hospice 3231 SW 34th Ave. Ocala, Florida 34474.
