Obituary of Michael G. Eggleston Michael G. Eggleston, 71, of Hannibal, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Oswego Hospital from COVID-19. He was born February, 5, 1950, in Syracuse, a son to the late Robert and Helen (Pickard) Eggleston. Mike was raised in Phoenix, NY. In 1968, he graduated from Phoenix High School. Mike was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Germany. He was inducted into the Fulton Bowling Hall of Fame in 1997. Mike was a former member of Beaver Meadow’s Country Club for many years. He was formerly a machinist at Black Clawson, Gould Pumps and presently at Industrial Precision since 1988. Mike enjoyed many things in life including, golf, Supermodified racing and casino trips with his wife and close friends. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Jay Eggleston. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Carol (Hyde) Eggleston; two daughters, Jennifer Garrant of Baldwinsville and Heidi Eggleston of Oswego; one granddaughter, Maple McElveen of Oswego; three sisters, Cindy Clark, Cathy Walter and Debbie Scruton; one brother, Ronnie Carey of Pennellville as well as several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mike’s life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Battle Island Golf Course, Rt. 48 Fulton.
