Obituary of Mary E. Leotta August 8, 2016 Mary E. Leotta, 70, of Fulton, passed away with her husband and sisters by her side on Monday, August 8 at University Hospital in Syracuse. A native of Sterling, she was a 1964 graduate of Hannibal Central School where she was president of her senior class. She had attended SUNY at Cobleskill. Mary retired as a bank teller at Fulton Savings Bank in Fulton after ten years. She loved and enjoyed working and helping her bank customers. Previously Mary had worked as office manager for R. Leotta Motors Sales & Service in Fulton, Northway Chrysler-Plymouth in Cicero and Parkay Motors in Fulton. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish, Fulton where she served the eucharistic ministry, landscape ministry and volunteered for the church festival. Mary especially enjoyed travelling, gardening, baking and cooking, watching and feeding her birds. She was an active member of the Fulton YMCA, Silver Sneakers and Yoga class. Mary was predeceased by her father, William H. Williams. Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Rosario “Rosy” Leotta of Fulton; step-children, Michael (Jacquelyn) Leotta, Cynthia Leotta, Joseph Leotta and Darren (Marty) Leotta all of Fulton; grandchildren, Christopher (Amy) Leotta, Samantha (Joshua) Crego, Jason Thurlow, Ryan (Nancy) Thurlow, Trey MacDonald and Chad Leotta; four great-grandchildren; mother, Dorothy Williams of Oswego; sisters, Marsha (Carl) Guth of Webster and Marlena (Thomas) LaClair of Pulaski; nephew, William (Melanie) LaClair; nieces, Rebecca (Jon) Wilcox, Mary Beth (Michael) Mancini, Emily and Molly Wilcox; several cousins and numerous friends. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 12 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13 at Holy Trinity Parish, corner of Rochester and South Third Streets in Fulton with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Seventh Street, Fulton. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to Holy Trinity Parish.
