Obituary of Mary O. Fauler August 25, 2014 Mary O. Fauler, 91, of Fulton passed away Monday at Morningstar Care Center in Oswego. Born in France, Mary had lived in Syracuse until her late teens. In 1942 she married Raymond Fauler and moved to the Fulton area. She had retired from NYS Dept. of Transportation after more than 15 years. Mary was a member of the Oswego Chorus, a communicant of The Church of the Immaculate Conception and was active in the Atler-Rosary Society. She was predeceased by a brother, George sister Rose, her daughter, Mary Rose and son, Joseph. Mary is survived by her husband of 72 years, Raymond; sons, Raymond G., Francis A., and Paul W; siblings, Johanna Whaley and Joseph Schmelzer; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 p.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, corners of So. Third and Rochester Sts., Fulton. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. The family suggests contributions to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 309 Buffalo St., Fulton, 13069.
