Lyle C. Gladle

Lyle C. Gladle, 83, of Mexico, NY, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at St. Luke’s Residential Care Center. Born in Ogdensburg, NY he was a son to the late Clifford and Evelyn (Planty) Gladle. Lyle lived and worked in Fulton at Oswego Industries, Inc where he had experience in many of the positions, eventually retiring after 30 years. After retirement, he settled in Mexico and became a beloved member of the community and a regular attendant of Believer’s Chapel. Lyle enjoyed being outside, going for walks and riding his bike. He loved trains and puzzles but most of all his cats; Shyan, Tiger, and Black & White. Lyle was predeceased by his parents and sister, Esther Rapp.

Surviving are his siblings, Sally McNitt, Richard (Marge) Gladle, and Madeline Gladle along with several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, April 25th at Believer’s Chapel North, 5375 State Route 3, Mexico, NY 13114. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Believer’s Chapel North, in Lyle’s memory. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
