Obituary of Loma J. Smithers Brant June 7, 2013 Loma J. Smithers Brant, 69, of Granby, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 7. She retired in 2007 from the housekeeping department at Sunrise Nursing Home in Oswego after 15 years and had worked as bookkeeper for her husband at Al Brant’s Collision in Fulton. She had enjoyed bowling and gardening. Loma was predeceased by her husband of 18 years, Elgin “Al” Brant in 2001. Surviving are her children, Rose (Steve) Debo of Syracuse, Anette (Burley) Pierce of Alabama, Nelson (Char) Leach, Jr. and Daniel (Colleen) Leach all of Fulton; two brothers, Ron (Barb) Smithers of Phoenix and Lance (Vicki) Smithers of Florida; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, June 10 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with services immediately following.
