Obituary of Lawrence M. Wolfe October 28, 2015 Lawrence “Larry” “Moose” M. Wolfe, Sr., 82, of Martville, passed away on Wednesday, October 28 at Oswego Hospital after a brief illness. A native of LaFayette, he was a son of the late, Paul and Florence Wolfe. Larry retired as an operating engineer with Operating Engineers Local #545 of Syracuse after 50 years working at various construction sites. He enjoyed making general repairs and fixing things. He was predeceased by his first wife, Irene Moore Wolfe; children, Lawrence Wolfe, Irene Alexander and Stephen Wolfe; siblings, Paul, William and Carl Wolfe and Dorothy Reis. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Rita Hartnett Wolfe of Martville; children, John Wolfe of Sterling, Larry (Maureen) Wolfe of Rochester, Rita (Vincent) Stanley of Auburn, Thomas Wolfe of Utica; Robert (Tina) Wolfe of No. Syracuse, Beverly (Joseph) Harmon of SC, Alan Wolfe of MO, Andrew Wolfe of PA and Joseph Wolfe of Syracuse; siblings, Ralph (Dorothy) Wolfe and Florence Dann all of Baldwinsville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 2 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street in Hannibal. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 3 at the funeral home with burial at Hannibal Center Cemetery.
