Lawrence E. Bresee

Obituary of Lawrence E. Bresee April 30, 2016 Lawrence E. Bresee, 65, passed away peacefully on April 30th at his home on Cross Lake. He was a Navy Veteran, and retired from a 31 year career at Crucible Steel. Larry served for several years on the Hannibal Village Board and was also head of the Hannibal Water Department. He is a past Commander of Hannibal American Legion, Prior Stock Post 1552 and also served as County Commander. Larry is survived by his wife, Julia Jacob Bresee and son, Eric A. Bresee, his wife, Amy and their son, Brayden as well as several siblings, nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday May 5 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street in Hannibal. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 6 at the funeral home with burial and military honors at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Seventh Street in Fulton.
