Laverne "Vern" Goodman

Obituary of LaVerne Goodman March 17, 2015 LaVerne “Vern” Goodman, 77, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening at home in Hannibal where he resided with his niece and her family. Vern was born August 2, 1937, a son to the late, Floyd and Beatrice Goodman. He retired from the State of New York where he was employed for several years as a transportation driver. In addition to his parents, Vern was predeceased by his wife, Sue; a son, David and a grandson, Joshua Goodman. He is survived by his daughters, Deb (Eric) Schisow and Phyllis Schriefer; a brother-in-law, John (Heidi) Carey; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
