Larry E. Dennison

Larry E. Dennison, 68, of Hannibal, passed away on October 7, 2024 after a brief illness.  He was born to Joan and the late Luther Dennison and was a lifetime resident of Hannibal.  Growing up Larry was an active member of 4-H, winning several trophies and ribbons.   Larry was a proud dairy farmer for 32 years on the family farm, JKL Farm, in Hannibal.  He had also worked as a supervisor for Aapex Contracting Services for several years.  Larry enjoyed fixing almost everything and was a genuine “handy man” around his home and farm.

In addition to his father, Larry was predeceased by three infant children and his father-in-law, Gerald A. Griesmyer.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Mary Griesmyer Dennison; mother, Joan Dennison; siblings, Linda (Joseph) Salvatore, Keith (Melody Herring) Dennison, Jack (Sherri Bauer) Dennison; Jill (Glenn) Cooper and Kathe (Randy) Beckwith along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In keeping with Larry’s wishes, all services are private.  He will be laid to rest in Hannibal Village Cemetery.  Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal has care of arrangements.
