Obituary of June A. Socie April 30, 2016 June A. Socie, 76, of Palermo, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, April 30 at home. She was a life resident of the Palermo area and the daughter of the late, Leon and Ellen Howard. June retired in 1995 after 21 years as a social worker with Oswego County Department of Social Services in Mexico. She had previously worked at General Electric in Syracuse. June was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish in Fulton. Her most important activity was to be a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Surviving are her beloved husband of 50 years, Herman Socie of Palermo; children, Paul Bradish (Karen England) of Northampton, MA, Kathryn Nolting of Scriba, James Bradish (Julie) of Mexico, Cynthia Fleming (John) of Mexico and Susan Souza (Steven) of Taunton, MA; sister, Shirley Steed (Gary) of Chaparral, NM; 22 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and a niece and nephew. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday May 3 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street in Fulton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 4 at Holy Trinity Parish, corner of Rochester and South Third Streets, Fulton with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fulton.
