Obituary of Joyce C. Howard January 29, 2015 Joyce C. Howard, 82, of Volney went to be with the Lord on Thursday. Born in Fulton, Joyce had lived in the area her entire life. Joyce was an active member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist. She was a member of the Fulton Women’s Club, a volunteer for A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital and past chairperson of the Fulton Cracker Barrel Fair. She also enjoyed playing bridge and mahjong. She was predeceased by her husband, John “Jack” Howard. Joyce’s memory will be cherished by her daughter, Merrilee (John) DeVaul of Fulton, a son, Craig (Janice) Howard of Lebanon, TN; her twin sister, Joanne Robinson of Cicero; three grandchildren, Alana and Daniel DeVaul and Jonathan Howard; several nieces and nephews. A service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, Co. Rte. 45, Volney. Calling hours are 4 to 6 p. m. Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
