Obituary of Joseph P. Leotta Joseph P. Leotta, 88, of Fulton passed away peacefully after a brief illness with his daughters at his side. A Fulton native, he was the owner and operator of Leotta Automotive Service and Fulton Firearms for many years. Joseph proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the Syracuse Pistol Club and Pathfinder Fish and Game Club. Joseph won many medals in the Empire State Games for target shooting, as well as at the New York State Fair, for his homemade wines. He was predeceased by his parents, Rosario and Sarah Leotta; sister, Mary Driscoll; and his wife, Eleanor. Joseph will be greatly missed by his children, Dolores (Daniel) Abraham, Susan (Anthony) Squadrito and Doreen (Edward) Kelly; grandchildren, George, Matthew, Bryan, Tyler, Amanda and Caelyn; great-granddaughter, Eleanor; sister, Carmie Jones; brothers, Rosario Leotta and Vincent Leotta; loving companion, Patricia Ferranti; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours 11 am to 1 pm Saturday, July 25 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, where masks and social distancing requirements will be observed. A graveside service will follow at 1 pm in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
