Obituary of Johnny M. Jenks May 31, 2015 My friend, my love, Johnny M. Jenks entered into Heaven on Sunday surrounded by his loving family and his best friend, Jim Maher. He was 66 years old. Johnny was born in Oswego and grew up in Sterling. He attended Hannibal Schools and resided in Hannibal for the past 45 years. Johnny was a former member of the Sterling Valley Community Church. He was a machinist by trade and had worked as a custodian for Red Creek Central Schools and Hannibal Central Schools. Johnny and his friend Jim liked to go hunting and fishing, he also enjoyed camping and golfing with his wife, Dianne. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur Jenks, who died in 1994. Johnny is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dianne Palmer Jenks; one daughter, Kelly (Damon) Crawford of Auburn; one grandson, Jeffrey Crawford; his mother, Sylvia Jenks of Oswego; a brother, Marvin Jenks of Hannibal; a sister, Melody (Kenny) Scott of Sterling. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal. Burial will be in Hannibal Village Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 2 at the funeral home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
