Obituary of John McGraw, Jr. John McGraw, Jr., 99, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Oswego hospital. Born on June 1, 1921 in Adams, the son of John and Ella Mae (Bettinger) McGraw. John served with the US Army, 348th Combat Engineers. He landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day, H-Hour +1. John worked as a machinist and machine shop inspection with the Sealright Corp. for many years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton, the American Legion in Fulton, and the Hiram Lodge 144 F & A.M. He was predeceased by his brother, Floyd McGraw in 2011; sister, June Diak in 1963; granddaughter, Elizabeth DeLaire in 1979. Surviving are his children, Kathy Stone, Debbie Bernard, and Chris DeLaire; grandchildren, Tonia Houghton, Charlene Bernard, Rebecca Craghead, Greg Stone, Nicole Stone and Jeff Onkin; five great-grandchildren; two great great-children and several nieces and nephews. At this time, there will be no calling hours or services. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has care of arrangements.
