Joan’s philosophy on life was published in a local newspaper as the following: I believe in the Golden Rule, “Do unto others…” Making and keeping friends is a big thing because memories are what we pass to our children and you try to give them happy memories to pass to their children. And what gets me through a lot of situations is the “Lord grant me the strength” prayer.
