Obituary of Jean Mokwa January 27, 2015 Jean Mokwa, 83, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday January 27, 2015, at Oswego Hospital. She was born in Deruyter, a daughter to the late, Leon and Laura Hotchkiss and lived most of her life in the Fulton area. Jean was a member of the Bluegrass Association, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star. She had operated the Hide-a-Way Restaurant in Jordan for several years. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sons, John and Mike Suressi. Jean is survived by her husband of 38 years, Thomas Mokwa of Fulton; one daughter, Shirley (Gerald) Pitcher of Martville; one son, Frank (Cheryl) Suressi of Cato; a brother, Raymond Hotchkiss of Fulton; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, February 9 with services to follow in the Fourth floor Community Room at the Fulton Mill Apartments, 265 West First Street South, Fulton.
