Obituary of Jane A. (Wadsworth) Doran Jane A. (Wadsworth) Doran, 97, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Seneca Hill Manor. Born in Onondaga Hill, Mrs. Doran previously resided in North Syracuse and Hannibal before moving to Fulton over 20 years ago. Jane was a 1939 graduate of Onondaga Central and received her associates degree from Morrisville. She completed marketing research for many stores, was a home health aide for many years and worked on Turbines at General Electric. During her free time, Jane enjoyed flea markets, antiques and Scrabble. She spent time traveling and camping with her family and friends. She also volunteered her time to many different causes. Jane hated injustice and promoted progressive causes all her life. She was a communicant of the First United Church of Fulton, an active member of the women’s club at church and served as a deacon. Jane was always excited to see young people and enjoyed seeing the world through their eyes. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Doran in 1990 and three brothers, James, Arthur and John Wadsworth. Surviving are her three sons, James (Susan) Doran of Virginia, Michael (Rachel) Doran of Vermont and Daniel Doran of Fulton; daughter-in-law, Debra Doran of Liverpool; two sisters, Ann (Lloyd) Amidon of Lafayette and Sally Tartaglia of Syracuse; brother, Duane (Diane) Wadsworth of Onondaga Hill; six grandchildren, Aaron, Caitlin, Gwen, Jeff, Nate and John; many great-grandchildren; friend, Paul Kitts of Fulton; special niece, Arielle Brown as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, where we will be restricted to 10 visitors at a time and face coverings and social distancing will be required. A graveside service will immediately follow at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.
