Jan C. Destevens

Jan C. DeStevens, age 68 of Oswego, NY passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023.

Jan is survived by her loving children, David (Mary LaBeef) DeStevens, James (Allyson) DeStevens, and Robert (Sherrie) DeStevens; grandchildren, Anthony, Rose, Olivia, John, Jacob and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Bohdi and Vivian; siblings, Joan (Randy) Sizelove and Patrick (Rose) Bailey; nephew, Michael DeStevens; and several other nieces and nephews.

Jan enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing in her younger years. She was a member of the Volney Volunteer Auxiliary for many years. She loved being a bus driver for the Fulton Consolidated Schools for over 20 years. She was a loving, caring and dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was predeceased by her husband, David A. DeStevens, Sr; parents, Nelson Bailey and E. Helen Parker; siblings, Jon Bailey, Jil Curtis and Philip Bailey; stepfather, Lewis Parker; and stepmother, Pat Bailey.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 4pm to 6pm at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 11am at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, NY. To leave a special message for the family, please sign the guestbook.
