James D. Meeker

James “Jim” D. Meeker, Sr. age 51 of Granby, NY passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at home with his family by his side. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Lucille and Frederick Meeker; son, Aaron W. Meeker; and brother, Dale Meeker.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Nicole Kulp Meeker; children, Nathan (Sierra) Kulp, Jessica Meeker, James (Amanda) Meeker, Jr., and the good son, Jerry; grandchild, Julianna Burke; siblings, Marilyn (Sean) Miller, Fred (Sandy) Meeker, Mary Lou Meeker, Linda (Skip) McCann, Rose (James) Deprospero, Kelly Wager, Chris Hoch, and Michelle (Rick) Vincent; faithful kitty companions; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jim was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, hiking, and fishing. He especially enjoyed hiking in Wanakena, NY with his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.
