Obituary of James R. Bartlett September 1, 2016 James R. Bartlett, 50, of Oswego passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Oswego Hospital. He was born May 6, 1966 in Oswego, a son to the late Robert Jenks and Margaret Bartlett. Jamie was a very outgoing person and was up for anything. He was well known for being called “Santa Claus.” He is survived by his companion, Annette Hall; two daughters, Carrie Jacobs and Cherie Taylor; 2 step-children, Lance Hall and Elaine Hall; three grandchildren, Ameila, Spencer and Daniel; six siblings, June (Bruce) Weldin, Roberta (Donald) Reed, Robert (Kimberly) Jenks, Jr. Waneda Jenks, David (Bonnie) Bartlett and Pearl (Theodore) Lafave as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 6 from 10 a.m. to noon at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. A funeral service will follow at noon. Burial will be in Fairdale Rural Cemetery.
