Obituary of Gwenn Maynard November 18, 2015 Gwenn Maynard, 64, of Hannibal passed away surrounded by her loving family after a 2 ½ year battle with cancer. Born in Salem, NJ to the late William and Mae Buckalew, Gwenn had moved to Hannibal in 1977. She enjoyed knitting and music especially the song, “Start Me Up” by the Rolling Stones. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ann in 1960 and brother, Charlton in 2003. Gwenn will be greatly missed by her husband of 32 years, Roy Maynard; son, John Maynard; daughter, Donna Maynard; step-son, Roy James Maynard, Jr.; granddaughters, Alexandria Maynard and Jasmin Sabin; grandson, Darren Sabin; step-granddaughter, Brittany Bivens; step-grandson, Justin Booth; daughter-in-law, Christina Maynard and siblings, Jerry Buckalew, Leah Simpkins and twin brother, Glenn (Maria) Buckalew. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 23 at Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal. Burial will be in Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, November 22 at the funeral home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal.
